The founding members and partners of the firm are Adv. Sharif Yusuf Mugabo who serves as the Managing Partner and Adv. Venue Kagabo who acts in his capacity as FLC’s Senior Partner. Although the Firm has not limited its running to the founding partners, it has got a dynamic list of associates that help with the fulfillment of the firm’s obligations towards its clients.

Adv. Sharif Yusuf Mugabo is the founding member and Managing Partner at Fidelis Law Chambers. He has been a licensed practicing lawyer through the Rwanda Bar Association (RBA) since 2013, a licensed Private Notary, and a certified Court Mediator.
He is a holder of a Master’s Degree (LL.M) in Business Law from the University of Rwanda, a Diploma in Legal Practice (DLP) from the Institute of Legal Practice in Rwanda, a bachelor’s Degree (LL.B) in Law from the Former National University of Rwanda (Now University of Rwanda) as well as a big number of certificates acquired after completion of different professional courses.
Some of his key professional participations include the following:
Successfully took part in the East Africa Community (EAC) Sub-regional Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Platform that took place from 5th to 7th November 2015 organized by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction at the United Nations Complex, in Nairobi, Kenya.
Successfully took part in the finalization of the draft proposed MoU between the Republic of Burundi and the Republic of Rwanda on transboundary management (Nyungwe-Kibira) during the meeting that took place from 17th – 19th December 2015 organized by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, at the Silver Springs Hotel in Nairobi Kenya.
He was appointed by the Rwanda Bar Association and successfully took part in the development of the booklet to disseminate Gender Responsive Laws. The project was an initiative by the Rwanda Women Parliamentary Forum in April and June 2018.
